After two long years of my husband working so very hard as a teaching assistant at Connally High School, he has now been officially hired as a teacher!! I am more proud of him than I have EVER been before in our six years together. What makes it even more special, is that he earned it ALL ON HIS OWN. He worked hard, proving himself up there for the last two years and it has FINALLY paid off!!! We both couldn't be more happy about this!
(Side note: The other day, as in late in April, I realized that we completely missed our six year anniversary of how long we have been "together" on April 9th. Question: Once you are married, do you still have "how long you have been together" anniversaries? Or do you just kinda know how long you have been "together" year after year, but really just the actual "wedding anniversary date" becomes the important one?....)
Anyway, back to the wonderful job news!! As of the start of the upcoming school year, he will offically be a special education inclusion teacher for government and economics at Connally High School. We are so blessed and thankful for this long awaited news to come! We are also hoping that he might get to help coach up there, too. He's going to talk to the head coach soon to find out!!
